Most people have had a sandwich with alfalfa sprouts on it at some stage, or mung bean sprouts in a plate of Chinese Chow Mien. However, more and more people are starting to become aware of the power of these ‘superfoods’ not just as an addition to something else, but as an amazing meal in and of themselves. Top Super Foods Everybody Should Have in Your Diet

The last super food is walnuts.  There is a good chance you know about walnuts and have even used them cooking, but you may not know about the health benefits.  They are an excellent source of antioxidants, vitamins, fiber, and plant based protein.  They also have a higher concentration of omega 3 fatty acids compared to other nuts.

So where can you get these super foods?  Acai berries are probably best taken in supplement form because you will have a very hard time finding them fresh.  Pomegranates have become very popular and are now available in the fruit section of many stores.  Walnuts are available in almost any grocery store.  Pistachios are less common than walnuts, but you can usually find them at your local grocery store.
