I tried a pomegranate / banana smoothie last night. Opened up 2 pomegranates (that I bought real cheap as they were on the “we are about to throw these out” table) and put all the seeds in my blender, as well as some of the fibrous material found around the seeds. Then added a couple of old bananas and some water.
Probably very healthy, but too frothy for my liking. One recipe that I looked up afterwards suggested almond milk instead of water. I’ll try that the next time.
